Critical & Precious Metals

About Metals One

Metals One is pursuing a strategic portfolio of critical and precious metals exploration projects and investments underpinned by the Western World’s urgent need for reliably and responsibly sourced raw materials – and record high gold prices.

Our commodity exposure includes uranium, vanadium, gold, nickel, copper, cobalt, zinc, silver, graphite and platinum group elements.

Our direct/indirect project interests are in the USA, Finland, Norway, Peru, Tanzania and South Africa.

Among other strategic objectives, Metals One is rapidly becoming a leading AIM-listed play on early-stage uranium opportunities in the USA.

Strategy

Our strategy is to acquire interests in critical and precious metals projects and to apply our expertise to advance those projects.

The value uplift potential resides mainly in our ability to make discoveries and define resources before partnering with other companies to advance projects into the development phase. Longer term we may partner with larger companies to monetise our projects and/or commercialise them.

Our commodity portfolio is being developed with the following strategic rationale:

Uranium & Vanadium

Uranium and vanadium are critical minerals essential to the U.S. energy transition. Our projects in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and New Mexico are situated in highly prospective uranium and vanadium regions.

Uranium - Addressing U.S. Supply Deficits: Uranium is experiencing renewed interest driven by increased nuclear reactor builds and extensions. The global market faces a structural supply deficit. The U.S. imports over 90% of its uranium, making domestic supply development a strategic imperative.

Vanadium - Essential for Energy Storage and Infrastructure: Vanadium demand is rapidly growing, driven by its use in vanadium redox flow batteries for large-scale, long-duration energy storage solutions and in high-strength steel alloys. Recognised as a U.S. Critical Mineral, vanadium is crucial for national security, energy storage, and infrastructure modernisation.

Gold

Gold – Record High Prices: Through our investments in the Lions Bay entities, we are working to create a vertically integrated gold business in South Africa, anchored by Lions Bay Resources' recent acquisition of a cogeneration plant in Newcastle and its planned acquisition of the assets of Vantage Goldfields. Our Swales Gold Project’s proximity to significant gold mines operated by industry leaders including Barrick and Newmont positions Metals One to capitalise on local geological expertise and established mining infrastructure, enhancing exploration potential and operational feasibility.

Nickel

Nickel – Key to Energy Transition: Strategic minerals like nickel, copper and cobalt which are present in our projects are essential for EVs and energy storage. The Western World needs reliably and responsibly sourced raw materials, close to end users such as Europe’s car manufacturers. A Roskill study for the EU forecasts nickel demand from the EV sector in the EU alone will increase 30x from 2020 to 2040.

Platinum Metals

Platinum Group Elements – Essential for Clean Energy and Emissions Reduction: Supply is constrained and concentrated in high-risk jurisdictions, creating price upside potential as demand rises. Our PGE project hosts some of the highest-grade PGE assays published in Norway, alongside gold, nickel and copper grades.

Graphite

Graphite – Essential for Lithium-Ion Batteries: this mineral is of growing strategic importance amid U.S. tariffs on Chinese supply and Chinese export controls. Through our investment in Evolution Energy Minerals, we have exposure to a development-ready project in Tanzania supported by binding offtake agreements covering more than 90% of production.
